Job Description:
As an Owner Operator Truck Driver at Mile High Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting various types of freight across regional and long-haul routes. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain your own tractor-trailer or rig while adhering to safety regulations and company standards.
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on your equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery.
- Ensure the proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Uphold a strong commitment to safety, following all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and reliability in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the necessary endorsements.
- Proven experience as a long-haul truck driver.
- Ownership or lease of a well-maintained tractor-trailer or rig.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
